How have you been KnitChick?
I was dx'd with silent GERD yesterday as a result of years of bulimia. I started on a medication which seems to be helping but I'm also making some changes in my diet because I'm sure all the junk food hasn't helped I've been looking up healthy recipes. I have never tried quinoa but it's very popular so I think I might get some next time I go shopping __________________ “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

Hi Blue Bird. I have been doing well amidst the ups and downs of my mood and life. I have been slacking with strive for 5, but have been also walking and moving my body more. I hope you're doing well. Be kind to yourself.
ps: my mom made spaghetti squash and I think I'll have to have some today. I can't NOT. Lol. I love spaghetti squash. |

I've been eating pretty healthy lately. I do have a little bit of junk food in the house but have been eating it in moderation.

I tried soy milk for the first time, it's actually pretty good. Had scrambled eggs and turkey sausage for breakfast. Lunch will be a bowl of black beans and carrots. Dinner a bowl of spaghetti and an orange afterwords. I've got an apple with me to have as a snack later.

I had Brussels sprouts and fruit today for breakfast, very strange I know, haha but I was really craving vegetables.

Yes in the past I recorded everything I ate and wrote it all down. It helps some and today did walk 30-40 minutes which was great. Did eat a little too much dark chocolate. Weakness for me can be chips or sometimes chocolate. Do best if take a handful of chips or if not just want to keep eating them, yikes.

Today did snack on fresh vegetables, baby carrots, fresh red pepper and celery with hummus dip. Really like Ezekiel bread and it best for my digestion and it’s healthy. Like sun chips too.
