I had a terrible binge late Wednesday night, about 3000 calories. It was the eve of the five week mark in my diet. The next day i had @n@l incontinence. I $h!t my pants with diarrhea. I talk to my doctor on Monday.
I feel pretty discouraged. This might be something serious. I spent Thursday sipping on water and staying close to a toilet. I had a friend walk my dog, i was so afraid to go far from a toilet. I managed a small breakfast today and am sipping more water to help with the dehydration. This is all TMI of course but i wanted to share how dire things are. Jane. |

@whatever2013 i sure hope it was something you ate! Ever since some green pea soup back in the late 1980's, i have not been able to trust my farts. Sometimes i think i can and then i pay the price
Glucerna and Quest bars and any kind of fake sugar products are evil. Altho i do keep sugarfree Werther caramels on hand to keep me regular! One or two a day are worth a pound of broccoli. |

I'm still at the same weight. But for some reason, my knee really hurt me today. It was hard getting around. I used my walker. I had a deli sandwich today with a whole wheat wrap. It's getting late and I'm not hungry.

OK everyone I need some advice! I am finally going on my family trip to Yellowstone at the end of June. I’ve lost weight overtime, I did have gastric bypass but also had a few Covid pounds. I discontinued a weight gaining type of medicine and I’m happy with the weight loss. However I am not very fit. I’m just not that strong and I have arthritis. My concern is we will be walking abs hiking and doing all sorts of physical activities. What recommendations do you have for me to get pretty fit somewhat fit or just a little fit so that I don’t die while I’m out there?

I asked my therapist if I was fat and she got this weird look on her face and said “oh come on!” but she said I do need to work on my walk. I started visteril the other day for my anxiety and it hasn’t been the greatest in relation to my hunger. But I’m also dealing with PMS. I’m still just maintaining between 171 and 178 though.

I'm still the same weight. I've been eating meat and vegetables today. I had 1 carb balance tortilla. I could use some water.

@sarahsweets i would say walking, and stretch after you walk. And get acclimated to heat and staying hydrated as much as possible. Do you use a hiking stick? I find one helpful, esp if there are going to be hills.
And read an Everest book! One, because i like them, and two, to learn about making decisions under extreme physical stress? One is hot, one is cold, but its all the same really. |

I got 3 iced teas with 6 Splenda each this morning. It wasn’t anything I haven’t had before. I often get 3. I chugged them like I usually do and then 15 minutes after the last one I threw up on the floor a bit and then projectile vomited in the toilet for a good minute. I wasn’t even nauseated or feeling full from them or anything. I legit just needed to suddenly puke my guts out. I felt better afterwards and I’ve been eating and drinking fine since. I’ve had a piece of coffee cake, an Amy’s cheddar burrito, an Atkins shake, a 100 calorie package of almonds, and a bowl of shrimp wonton soup with the broth dumped out. For dinner I’ll probably have another Atkins shake and some zucchini noodles. I have down, 1350 calories. I haven’t had any visteril in 2 days.
But everyone is all like “drink liquids to help you stay full and not be hungry” My old therapist would be jumping down my throat if I was still seeing her since she was so sure I had an ED and chugging large iced teas to not be hungry may be considered unhealthy behaviors. __________________ I'm Blue Last edited by Mountaindewed; May 31, 2021 at 03:47 PM.. |

Even though I was eating meat and vegetables, I gained a pound. I want the scale to go down. Not up. My nutritionist says drink more water. I hate drinking water. But I will try.

Maybe its like that for people on My 600-lb life, but they are a lot bigger than some of us. And like i take a medication that slows my heartrate, so i have read thats like ADDING 200 calories a day, which is a pound and a half a week that im NOT losing, that an "average" person eating my diet, not taking this med, would. So thats just longer i have to wait for results to show up, because i have a wiggly dial scale. |

My phone appointment with my medical doctor went very well. We made a plan. He will refer me to a psychiatrist who hopefully specializes in Binge Eating Disorder (BED) and can treat bipolar as well. The psychiatrist may have resources for therapy (psychologists, groups, etc.) or there is a slight chance that they do therapy as well.
This is Canada tho so despite our reputation for good health care it will take six months to a year to get a psychiatrist. Until then i will do counselling with my medical doctor every two weeks. We've decided to finish the benzo taper which is on hold at 9mg Valium until my hypomanic insomnia fades when Spring passes and then do a cautious withdrawal from Risperdal, which may well be the cause of my excess weight. He said my 6.2 pound weight loss over six weeks is ACTUALLY GOOD! I'm so transfixed by my diet when i was 41 where i lost SEVEN pounds the first week, in one single week, then three pounds the next, i don't actually feel i'm doing well, but at this rate i will lose 52 pounds a year so looking at it that way, it's an improvement. Slow-and-steady wins the race, he said. A sustainable diet is sensible, he said. Apparently, i'm doing all the right things, just using my common sense, but it was nice to hear it confirmed by a doctor. I even made him laugh at one point, we both laughed really hard. It was a special moment. So it's nice to have a plan of attack for the future and i feel more relaxed knowing i will be getting some help. Truth be told, i am pretty sure that after six months to a year of counselling with my medical doctor, i probably won't need to see a psychiatrist -- my medical doctor is THAT good!!! Hugs to all, Jane. |

I was still in my weight range but several pounds less than yesterday. I don’t know if it’s being done with PMS or all the throwing up I did yesterday. I also had 2 Atkin shakes. But it was a nice surprise seeing it that low.
Today I had a diet cherry Vanilla Coke from Sonic, an Atkins shake, a 100 calorie package of almonds, and avocado toast from Dunkin Donuts. For a snack I’m going to have another Atkins shake and another package of almonds. Dinner will be 2 pieces of salmon and a bag of green giant butternut squash noodles. I have down 1371 on my Noom app. __________________ I'm Blue |

Today I didn't feel well. So I ate comfort food. I'm not sure what will happen tomorrow but I needed my McDonald's today.

I went out for breakfast today. I never go out to eat in general anymore and I think I’ve only been out to breakfast once with my mom in the past 13 years and that was in 2016 because I had a gift card for the place. But I went today and I had stuffed French toast. I had a glass of chocolate milk too. So I don’t know how much calories all that was. I got a Mountain Dew from the gas station but I didn’t drink much of it. I haven’t eaten since 8:30 this morning and I don’t feel hungry. I also am not quite sure how many calories I have left. So I don’t know what I’ll be doing for the rest of the day.
