Three more pounds and I'll be at my milestone.

I weigh 171.6 with clothes on in the middle of the afternoon. I think my weight this morning was a fluke. I'm confused about what I've eaten today. I had the goldfish, the full calorie Mountain Dew, one packet of tuna, egg bites, the iced tea/lemonade, the atkin shake, and a few chips. I have logged in though a second pouch of tuna which I don't remember eating. But maybe I did and I just don't remember. Either way even with a piece of pizza for dinner I think I'm low. Especially since a good amount of my calories were eaten at 2AM. So I don't know what to do. And I don't remember if I ate the tuna. I guess I can check the garbage. Right now if I did eat it I'm at 1,237 calories. Which is still a bit low especially since I did very early morning snacking.

I was 166.2 this morning. For breakfast I had a couple Yoplait whips oranges and cream yogurts that expired on the 31st so I needed to eat them. I also had a trenta black tea lemonade. For lunch I had an Atkins shake and my normal order from Jimmy Johns. An extra roast beef, extra tomato, ez lettuce, no mayo unwich. I'm not sure on dinner. I may just have tuna and work on the bag of pretzel Goldfish, the box of Chicken in a Biskit crackers, and the bag of lemon salt Fritos I have opened all at one time. With everything I have logged in I am at 1260 calories, 71 grams of protein, and 140 carbs. I'm not sure on my sodium though.

I was still 166.2 today. For breakfast at 8:15 I had a serving of pretzel Goldfish, a serving of lemon salt Fritos, and a can of regular orange vanilla Coke. I stopped at Sonic around 9:30 and I got a medium cheese fries which I ate about half of. I gave the other half to my mom. I still counted for the whole thing though. Then I got a vanilla diet Dr. Pepper and 3 sugar free blackberry iced teas. Dinner was egg bites from Starbucks and a can of Chunky chicken noodle soup without the broth. Then I had a piece of walmart brand pumpkin cheesecake. I'm at 1,585 calories minus whatever I didn't eat of the fries and minus whatever the broth was.

Today I didnt eat until 11. Normally I wake up at 7 starving. I woke up at 7:45 in a rush to make it to the store and gas station. I got a couple diet sodas from Sonic but I didnt even think of getting food from there. After therapy I had a Pop Tart. I tried eating 2 servings of Chicken In A Biskit crackers and an Atkins shake for lunch. I had one serving and then 2 crackers of the next serving but I couldnt finish them. The 14 I did eat were eaten over an hour. I was able to chug the Atkins shake. I just now had some tomato soup. Drinking stuff is ok but eating stuff is tough. I'm at 853 calories right now. That includes the syrup in the 2 diet sodas from Sonic I had. 853 calories is way too little to lose and I don't want my metabloism to slow down so I'll have to figure out something. I've had most of my meds except my 160 mil geodon and my melatonin.
Edit: I ended up eating a single serve package of RX maple almond butter and 2 pouches of Starkist tuna. So I am at 1,203 calories which is pretty accurate but also pretty low. My protein was also a bit low but my carbs were good. I was just about at my sodium goal. I try not to eat soup because of the sodium but this didn't have a huge amount for soup and I wanted something that wasn't solid. __________________ Ridin' with Biden Last edited by Mountaindewed; Jan 05, 2022 at 05:44 PM.. |

I had planned on eating comfort food today. While still sticking to my calorie budget. I had 5 Tyson chicken nuggets for breakfast but then I saw that Jimmy Johns had all their sandwhiches BOGO 50% off. So I ordererd an extra turkey, extra tomato, extra lettuce, no mayo on sliced wheat bread for lunch. Then an extra turkey extra tomato ez lettuce unwhich for dinner. So with all that plus the nuggets and protein shake I had for breakfast I'm at 1,105 calories and under my carbs and way over my protein and sodium. I'm not sure what else to eat considering I haven't even eaten the sandwhich yet.

I finally got the last of the opened bag of chips/crackers finshed. I had a bag of pretzel Goldfish, a bag of lemon salt Fritos, and a box of Chicken In a Biskit crackers all opened at one time. This morning I finally finished the box of chicken crackers I had been eating since the 23rd. I might start on my bag of Doritos Igognitos tommorow.
Today I plan on having an unfrosted brown cinnamon Pop Tart. I had opened that box the other day. I tried looking for the pretzel ones but I couldnt find them. So unfrosted brown cinnamon was the closet thing. I also am going to have a cup of crunchy Jif to go. I think I have about 3 or 4 left in that box. Then dinner will be a protein shake and 2 pouches of tuna. I also had a 20oz zero sugar Mountain Dew and a can of Starkist zero sugar orange soda. I am at 1220 calories, 66 grams of protein, 102 carbs, and 2125 mil of sodium. My sodium has been pretty high these last 2 days so my weight hasn't really moved. But today my sodium is under my goal. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

I have 2 opened bags of chips/crackers going and some opened indivudally wrapped boxes of stuff. Today was kind of ok. I had 3 Chobani flips Greek yogurts but I am under my protein goal still. I had a medium iced coffee with skim milk and splenda. I had a serving of Doritos and a serving of Goldfish crackers. I just now had a little cup of Campbells double noodle soup. I drank the broth since the sodium content was not horrible. Dinner will be a pouch of tuna. My carbs is slightly high but my sodium is still ok. If the coffee is correct, it was just a blind guess, I am at 1280 calories.

I'm still just hanging around 166-168. I dont actually look bad at this weight though and I'm not that unhappy with how I look. I do want to lose more weight but I'll let it happen when it happens. I dont think I'm eating enough for one thing. Today my calories equal to just about 1200 and that includes coffee.

Why are you so preoccupied about how often other people weigh themselfs and what their weight loss goals are? Its their own bodies and decisions.

I’m not preoccupied, I’m interested in weight loss and health and recovery. It is completely unhealthy to weigh yourself every day. Psychologically it is not good for you. I’m not saying people need to listen to me and not do it Because I’m the boss. scientifically, research wise, and mental health wise it’s not good. You are already setting yourself up to associate emotion with a number on the scale. You lose weight you feel great you feel up. You gain weight and you start hating yourself or beating yourself up reinforcing Low self image and esteem. I have yet to come across any doctor that specializes in actual weight loss beyond a gimmicks support weighing yourself once a day. Unless you are medically required to for a health reason weighing yourself more than once a day doesn’t support the positive goal someone might have in mind. Am I saying that people who weigh themselves once or more a day aren’t happy and Or positive ? I am not.. I am just saying science and research don’t support that way of looking at things anymore. Just like BMI and weight charts are completely bogus and every person with any kind of education and intellectual ability has debunked them. They have been proven to negatively affect developing middle school and high school kids. They have been proven to miss labeled people as obese or overweight when it does not take into account activity, other health, and also muscle mass. Why are you asking me if I’m preoccupied with peoples weight loss goals? Am I not supposed to follow this thread or comment in it ? What are the parameters for commenting in these threads? Because you keep asking the same questions and we or at least I have given you the same answer a number of times.

I haven’t asked any more about that. I shared a very good article. Then you brought it up by asking about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk __________________ "I carried a watermelon?" President of the no F's given society. |

Given the huge natural fluctuations in your weight over the course of a day it is not recommended (by any responsible advice) to weigh yourself more than once a week, ideally at the same day/time. Assuming that your weight today reflects what you ate yesterday is inaccurate because depending on what and when you ate, your metabolism and activity, it can take a few days to show up realistically on the scales (and by that, I mean as a change in lean or fat mass, rather than just changes in hydration levels). I looked into NOOM a while ago and the daily weighing is a huge red flag - no expert in nutrition/weight loss would recommend weighing that often, it is just a recipe for eating disorders. |

I learned a lot of stuff from Noom and it helped me lose and keep off weight. I found some of the articles and the one on one cocahing helpful although the whole thing did seem a bit weird and I cancelled it after my subsciption was up.
They also tried to charge me for another 6 months without my permission. Luckily I figured it out and was able to cancel. __________________ Ridin' with Biden Last edited by Mountaindewed; Jan 12, 2022 at 07:28 AM.. |

I was 167.4 today. I didnt eat a ton today I wasn't feeling good and I was out of my house again so I was busy and I didn't feel like stopping at a resturant. I did get a small weight loss smoothie and a jerky stick though from a smoothie place. So at least I've had protein. But I had about 410 calories at midnight because I went to bed at 5PM feeling tired and not hungry. So I woke up hungry but not ravenous. Almond butter gets me through my hunger a lot of the time. My therapist and I made a sort of food plan and she had me buy some frozen fruits and vegetables and she wants me to lay off the Doritos and Goldfish crackers which I eat almost everyday. She said to start off by eating them 6 times once a day instead of whatever I was doing before. I've lost and kept weight off for 6 years so I kinda feel like I know what I'm doing. At the same time I feel like my diet is starting to catch up to me. I do know you can be not heavy and be unhealthy at the same time.
