I've been pretty good with meal planning. It's almost time for dinner, and I am sitting here - it's still quite early in the evening, and I'm telling myself at exactly half past the hour I will start my work out, lol...I really don't feel like doing it, but I know I feel better when I work out, and I know that I just have to do it. 60 minutes, that's all, just stand in front of the tv and follow the workout for 1 hour. I can even complain while I do it. LOL.

My diet this time is different because its just lack of hunger from lowering 2 doses of my meds. So the lack of hunger is just there. Plus I've been pretty into canned vegetables lately.

It wasn't a workout day but I felt the urge to run a mile on the treadmill before dinner. Ended up reducing my appetite pretty well and I didn't finish my portion of dinner.

I was down about 5lbs more this morning. Hoping all this work pays off too.

Subways footlong pretzel was pretty lame, but it only had 330 calories. I shared that and the 190 calorie footlong churro with my mom. I had a Mountain Dew to help wake me up and then a can of Bush's butter beans in a coffee mug. I got coffee while I was out. I just now had a can of Del Monte zucchini in some kinda seasoned tomato sauce.

I need to watch my sodium though. Its been pretty high lately. But overall I've been eating a lot of canned vegetables or sharing stuff with my mom so my calories have been low.

I have not gone to the grocery store to check out those butter beans you recommended. Are they available in a reduced sodium version?

I've never seen them in reduced sodium so I have to watch it since a whole can has 1,645 mil of sodium.

I have noticed they make reduced sodium Bush's black beans and regular black beans are pretty good too.

Ok then I won't look for them. I only eat reduced sodium beans since I do not like the taste of salt.

You can now buy reduced sodium beans from store brands.

Just 10 minutes of rowing this evening whilst waiting for the washers in the laundry room. Not much but a victory since I was not feeling well.
1432 m in 10 minutes. Higher than Zone 2 based on rate of perceived exertion but did not measure the heart rate with a monitor/app.

Did a lot of cardio today, mostly low but also moderate intensity.

In the morning, a mixture of cardio machines at the gym: a skiing ergometer, a vertical climber, a treadmill, an elliptical, a StairMaster, and a recumbent bike.

In total, just over an hour of exercise, of which:

33 minutes in Orangetheory Blue zone (zone 2 it is, I think)
28 minutes in Green zone (zone 3)

Avg HR 113
Peak HR 134

Total calories 364

In the evening, walked around the apartment complex two times while listening to Audible. Spent 80 minutes but again, it was very slow. I wore a puffer jacket with a hood as it was still raining a little bit.

If I get enough good sleep, then tomorrow evening I will go to Orangetheory fitness for a treadmill workout: 50 minutes of treadmill intervals. It would be my first time doing this workout.

55 minutes of personal training

prior to that, to warm up, spent 12 minutes on a recumbent elliptical. Chose the lowest level and my HR did not even rise to 100.

I’ve bombed on the exercise this week and last but I’ve been pretty consistent with healthier eating because my son’s on a health kick - it’s been all home cooked and wholesome stuff.

Next week I’ll try better with the exercise.

60 mins of Yin yoga

55 minutes on a recumbent elliptical. Level 1, nothing ambitious, but my things still feel pleasantly sore from the exercise.

10 minutes on a treadmill

32 mins walking in warm water. Walked sideways, backwards and forwards. Feeling wonderfully refreshed now.

I spent several hours in one stretch this evening standing, walking and sitting while wearing a 12 lb weighted vest. I managed to cook for the week ahead, eat, take out garbage and recycling, and clean a bit. It felt so good wearing the vest. somehow it makes my posture better, or at least that is how it feels to me.

I did about 45 minutes on my Oculus VR. I did the supernatural app. I did a 30 minute workout to get the hang of it. Then about half an hour later I tried an actual workout. You have to knockout these block things with the controllers that are flying at you. Some of them you have to knock out a certain way. Then they have these things coming at you that you have to either dodge to the left, right, or duck. You do it to music too. I was working out to an Imagine Dragon song. And they have virtual coaches who tell you what to fix and to encourage you.
I was out of breath after 15 minutes.

They don't make these model VRs anymore and the new ones are about $500. So I'm glad I got mine because this seems like it will be a good thing. I'm not a gym guy.
