I took a nice walk today and stopped at the park to do 2 outdoor weight machines for quads. Boy, do I need to build some muscle! It felt awesome, but I bet I'll feel less awesome tomorrow and be sore. I want to do more of the weights at the park. Maybe some for the calves & arms. Then some of the ab machines. They also have an outdoor excerise bike, elliptical type machine and stair stepper. They are not as elaborate as the cardio exercise equipment in the gym, but I want to give them a try and see how they work out. It is so cool they put this stuff outdoors in the park free to use and always available. It's really quite a small park, the walking circuit is about 0.5 miles, but they have nice equipment there.
I also swung on the swings. I noticed that works the quads too! __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, anorexia, panic disorder, ADHD Seroquel, Cymbalta, propanolol, buspirone, Trazodone, gabapentin, lamotrigine, hydroxyzine, There's a crack in everything. I had a box of zero sugar white chocolate pudding and 2 cups of watermelon popcorn for breakfast. I also had a mug of unsweetened blue fruit Lipton tea. I got on my treadmill for a bit. I'll get on again later.

Progressing through week 5 of couch to 5k, this is the week that ends with a jump to a 20 minutes run. The first couple of runs are just 8 minx2 though so we’re okay.
I also did my husband’s physio exercises with him, which is surprisingly challenging. |

I'm doing good today. Just plowing along. Ate protein for breakfast. Made some overnight oats since my coffee ones didn't turn out well. I need to get on the treadmill.

I need to work on things badly. Idk how to fix things. My stamnia sucks and I am so out of shape. I get out of breath just tying my shoes. I can manage just 7 minutes on the treadmill. My protein intake has been decent lately. How do you fix a messed up body? I still weigh between 215-217. The same since March.

Today I was 216. I had a healthy breakfast. I'm making semi hardboiled eggs now. Dinner will be this recipe I found on Reddit for flour tortilla cheese pizzas. Mainly I need to give up the sports drinks now. I don't have much issue with soda anymore.
I found another recipe on Reddit for flatbread crackers, riccoto cheese, and sliced cherry tomatos. I'll see how that one works out too. __________________ I'm Blue Last edited by Mountaindewed; Jul 26, 2024 at 11:06 AM.. |

The best way to build fitness is very gradually in my experience, and 7 minutes on a treadmill is better than nothing. |

I just pushed myself to do 10 minutes. So I'm getting up there. My goal is eventually to get to an hour.

I did weights, sqauats with resistance bands and situps today. Tomorrow I'm doing that again, plus yoga and 45 minutes on the treadmill. Trying to get back in shape

I'm really tired and I feel a bit weird physically. I had a cold brew coffee from Starbucks and it was actually fine for once on my stomach. But besides that I've had a triple zero Oikos yogurt and a few butter flavored Ritz crackers. I'm not sure on the rest of the day.

Got my 20 mins run in this morning, that’s a big jump in the program from 2x 8 mins with 5 mins walking between. It’s odd how it works but it does.
Not sure about the 25 mins run next week but I’ll slow it right down. |

OMG, a 20 min. run?! I am doing a knockoff couch to 10K called 10K runner, which starts pretty much like couch to 5 K. I am on week 3, just finished day 1 week 3. There were 2 2.5 min. runs, 2 1.5 min. runs and near the end of the 2nd 2.5 min run, I thought I was dying! If this keeps up, I will have to repeat week 3 I think!

Have you tried slowing your pace? That’s what I do if I’m struggling. I did want to stop a couple of times yesterday but just slowed it. Good luck! |

I'm at 214.8 today. I just finished doing 10 minutes on my treadmill. I had a Chobani flips yogurt and a wildberry protein cinnamon roll and an iced tea for breakfast. I don't know what else I'll eat.
I ended up doing 15 minutes on the treadmill. I'm making a bag of stir fry for dinner. __________________ I'm Blue Last edited by Mountaindewed; Jul 28, 2024 at 12:59 PM.. |

Gained more weight since the beginning of the month, but haven't been putting in the work. Going to start watching what I eat again and increase gym days from twice a week to three times a week.

Yesterday I took a 30 minute walk, and managed to get 11,000 steps throughout the day. Idk why but my fitbit really motivates me, I love seeing how many steps I can get in a day. When I was working retail I was regularly getting 22,000 -25,000 steps a day Today I have my volunteer shift with rescue cats and that's a very physically active thing because I'm cleaning their cages out and there's a lot of them so I count that as exercise today, it's 2 hours long
