I am making a serious effort now to lose weight because I've gained 20 lbs in the last couple months, and I was already a small bit overweight to begin with. I just really lost control with binge eating the past few months. And boredom eating. So I'm trying my best to rein all that in and stop. It's hard.

I'm still stuck between 215 and 218 pounds. Give or take a pound or 2. Its been the same weight since Febuary. I've made a lot of progress with my anxiety and overall mental health in the mean time. Its just been the physical stuff thats made weight loss hard. I have confidence I'll lose weight and at least I'm not gaining. My goal is to get to 180. Which is only 38 pounds. Its totally doable.

I don’t know if this is helpful but I’m a snacker and I find it useful to have relatively healthier things in to snack on, I don’t buy in the unhealthy stuff (although I sometimes gaze longingly at it in the supermarkets) because it would be gone in a trice back home.

A 5k this morning which felt hard work, I think I’m just out of practice and fitness.

I think I need to shake up my workout routine possibly too, running is easy in that I don’t have to think about it, but maybe it’s getting old now.

I looked up ballet fitness classes but they were expensive and far away, so maybe I need to try a YouTube workout for that.

@Discombobulated I'm so jealous you are able to run. I'm not able to go walking for exercise yet. I'm fine around the house and in general but walking on the hard street & sidewalk hurts.

I have been able to do pilates. I have found a some videos that don't hurt my pulled muscle though I am sore just from the exercise in other areas - arms & abs mostly. I have found a good free series on YouTube called Move with Nicole. I only do the beginner videos; I'm not ready for any harder than that!

I've never been able to run. I mean I can run, at fast pace, but I can't jog at a steady pace for long distances. It's too boring, too much repetitive motion, too much pounding on my feet and knees. I used to bicycle, but its too dangerous now. I could probably do trail running since the pace and terrain vary.

I've added walking, crunches and pushups to my Finch App goals. So I do a 15-minute walk at about 5:30am, and 5 crunches & pushups nearly every day. The crunches are five straight up and five oblique on each side.

Yeah that’s what I’m trying to do. Not even buy it cause if it’s in the house I’ll eat it all. lol

I did the treadmill for 30 minutes yesterday and today and also took a walk outside today while carrying 20 lbs of cat litter so I got a good amount of physical activity

I’m trying to improve my cardio health. According to my Fitbit it is “fair for my age” (I’m 30). I want it to be good

This morning I was able to take a 35 min. walk without pain Not as fast as I was walking before, but I'm amazed I didn't have pain. Now I'm crossing my fingers that I will still feel okay tomorrow.

I may do pilates tomorrow even if I'm not sore from my walk today just to let myself heal. Also, I found a very good beginner's pilates video that gives you a nice burn in your abs, legs, and arms--especially my arms--without hurting my injury. I may alternate that with walking this week.

I am so bummed I will have probably lost all my running progress by the time I get back to it. I don't want to even attempt jogging for at least another couple of weeks. When I say this was a bad injury, it was really bad. I wished I had had narcotic painkillers especially that first week.

I've just had stuff to drink today. I've had 980 calories, and 177 carbs. My protein sucks but so does my appetite.

I wasn't sore today from my walk yesterday, but I decided not to push it and did pilates this morning. I'm going to try walking again tomorrow morning.

I had 1,355 calories, 139 carbs, and 44 grams of protein. I mostly had nuts, an apple, a pouch of tuna, and a small bag of popcorn. And my mom is saying its not enough and its not healthy. I'm pretty sure they eat this way in some part of the world and they live to be like 110.

@Discombobulated

This morning I wanted to walk, but it was very foggy outside so I did pilates instead. I found a very good free beginner's pilates on youtube that works the legs, arms, & abs:

I am at a 10 day low with my weight. Today I had an Atkins Bar and some chocolate covered cashews and a piece of marghetia pizza. I did also try the new Wicked drinks from Starbucks. I've been into eating apples and nuts lately and staying away from candy and chips. Even though the cashews have chocolate in them. They still have protein in them.

Had a couple of nights proper sleep which has helped both mentally and physically. Although still big things going on I’m able to cope better with sleep.

Up early this morning and out for a 6k which felt okay considering my lack of exercise recently, took it slow. .

Awesome that you had a run @Discombobulated!

I'm frustrated with my lack of ability to run lately. I tried a bit of jogging yesterday, and I still had pain. I did manage a 45 min. power walk. I took today off because yesterday I stubbed my little toe, and I think it's fractured AGAIN. I tried taping it to the toe next to it, and that didn't help. I think I will try icing it later today. I know within a week or so it will start to hurt less (or at least that's been my experience in the past). I'll probably go back to pilates until then.

Oh no blueberry, you really have been going through a lot. Take good care, it sounds like you need more recuperation time. Hoping you’ll get some relief soon.
