It could be a med timing reaction. I started taking some of my meds that make me hungry earlier during the day because of my anxiety. I'm trying to get back to taking them at the correct time.

I've had coffee today but not any soda. I've had about 56oz of water and a protein smoothie. I also charged my Garmin smartwatch and I'm wearing that now. I haven't worn it all year.

Update: I took my meds as prescribed today.. Mainly my Geodon which is the issue. 80 in the morning. 100 at bedtime. Not a 20 at 11AM and 80 at 1PM. And my hunger has been fine today for once.

I've had 1,314 calories, 151 carbs, and 63 grams of protein.

I'm down nearly 4 lbs since I started exercising and increasing protein. 2 more pounds and I'll be back to where I was when I hurt my back and couldn't exercise and gained weight back. Hopefully I'll get there soon.

I've been wearing my smartwatch all day. I've burned 212 active calories just by moving around more then normal. I really organized my freezer today. It was a lot of deep cleaning. I have my VR headset in view next to me and I plan on using the Supernatural app today for half an hour. Food wise things haven't been great. Just quality wise. I haven't been very hungry. Just thirsty. I'm currently at 1,016 calories for the day. I'll work out in a bit. I made a schedule with my therapist so my work out isnt for another couple hours.

- 50 mins of stretching

- 30 mins of low intensity cardio on the recumbent elliptical with chest press added. Avg hr 101

- Then 10 mins in the sauna, then 10 mins in the steam room

All of that has made it much easier to breathe. Even though it is a temporary positive effect, I am still glad that I went to the gym

I wonder if the dose of one of my meds is too low. Idk. Kinda makes sense that it wouldn't work as well at 215 pounds as it did at 160 pounds. All I know is I'm just crabby today and I got the shot this morning. I've eaten decently. I'm very tired.

- 13 mins recumbent bike, lowest intensity

- 60 mins foam rolling and stretching. My third time foam rolling and it is becoming more tolerable

I'm not gonna be an Ozempic person like some. I plan on doing this myself. My Lose It! App says I'll reach my goal by November 3rd. I've heard people are starting to die from Ozempic and peoples insurance aren't paying for it anymore. So yup. Their weight piles back on.

I'll pass on the gym too because of my VR headset and the boxing workout I have. People stare at you when you go to the gym even if you don't think they do. No thanks.

@Mountaindewed with your many existing GI complaints, Ozempic is clearly not for you because it can give GI side effects. Often transient, but still. You already have your plate full, so to speak. So good call staying out of it.

The article says "After a few months, Roy said, Trish switched to Saxenda — another injectable — to lose even more weight. " This is really weird since Saxenda is less effective than Ozempic.

Just completed an aerobics video. Last time I did this one it kicked my butt and I was too sore to move the next day. Today I did the entire thing without resorting to the downgraded exercises for when you get tired. My heartrate got up to 125 and I am out of breath. I may be sore tomorrow but I think it will be much less than last time. My next goal is to be able to do 2 videos back to back. Not there yet though. I also have to explore workouts 3 and 4. I'm a little scared of them as video 2 was a surprise upper body workout. So I assume one will be lower body and I have no idea what the other is.

Hopefully I burned some fat. 2 lbs to my next goal!

I could only make it to the bathroom today before I got too tired and had to lie back down. I ate decently and I only had one soda this morning.

I remember the first time I had soda for breakfast. I was 11 and at my friends 12th birthday party sleepover. I grabbed a Coke to drink to be funny and one of the other kids said "ew gross."

This was the same person who yelled at me for wanting to play drunk driving with Polly Pockets. I thought they were dumb though and dumb people drunk drive.

Had to experiences this evening which were quite amazing.

1) During cardio, I blasted pop songs. Yesterday I downloaded the Spotify app to use for free in order to explore pop music. Just chose a bunch of singers who I new were out there and a couple more whose faces looked interesting. I listened in the car and was underwhelmed. The only song I liked in terms of lyrics was "Sober" by Demi Lovato. I have never had alcohol issues, but I have read about them on MSF. It was literally an MSF song for me! The lyrics are below this post. And she sings so sweetly and with such a clear enunciation. So that I liked but not the rest. But this evening I listened to Spotify when doing cardio (green zone or zone 3), getting my heart rate up, and I must say, music really helped me. I did not care for the lyrics anymore at that heart rate, I just think I was helped by the rhythm and pace of music being in sync with the rhythm and pace of the workout. So I intend to do more of that. For low intensity, I will continue listening to audiobooks (say, yesterday I started listening to a biography of Agatha Christie... fascinating stuff), but for higher intensity, yes to pop music.

2) I hoped that restorative yoga would quiet me down as I had been getting revved up today and feared that it would escalate into hypomania unless stopped by Lybalvi (Zyprexa+). Restorative yoga indeed calmed me down completely and I do not plan to take Lybalvi now. I will just take a little Seroquel as per usual. I think what was so wonderfully relaxing about the yoga session today was that the poses were inverted, with legs above the heart level. I should probably try them at home for relaxation as I now have yoga props.

Anyway:

- ski ergometer 15 minutes, mostly green zone (zone 3). WHAT FUN!

AVG HR 113
PEAK HR 129

2000 meters

- rowing machine 8 minutes, mostly blue zone (zone 2).
AVG HR105
PEAK HR 125

1200 meters

- restorative yoga 75 minutes

***

Had only two meals today because I was revved up and not hungry. Had a large berry smoothie with low fat plain kefir and whey protein at 4:40 PM and a salad with chicken and avocado and corn from Chipotle at 10 PM. But earlier in the day, I drank 3 lattes with Fairlife milk which provided 39 g of protein. It just wasn't solid. food.

Lyrics
I got no excuses for all of these goodbyes
Call me when it's over, 'cause I'm dying inside
Wake me when the shakes are gone
And the cold sweats disappear
Call me when it's over and myself has reappeared
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know why
I do it every, every, every time
It's only when I'm lonely
Sometimes I just wanna cave and I don't wanna fight
I try and I try and I try and I try and I try
Just hold me, I'm lonely
Momma, I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore
And daddy, please, forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor
To the ones who never left me, we've been down this road before
I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore
I'm sorry to my future love for the man that left my bed
For making love the way I saved for you inside my head
And I'm sorry for the fans I lost who watched me fall again
I wanna be a role model, but I'm only human
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know why
I do it every, every, every time
It's only when I'm lonely
Sometimes I just wanna cave and I don't wanna fight
I try and I try and I try and I try and I try
Just hold me, I'm lonely
Momma, I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore
And daddy, please, forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor
To the ones who never left me, we've been down this road before
I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore
I'm not sober anymore
I'm sorry that I'm here again, I promise I'll get

And I haven't had time to actually do a literature search to see if the difference in negligible or not, but I feel like there might actually be a big difference between averaging it versus hitting the 30 minutes daily.
This quiz at the New York Times (you probably need a subscription to view it) cites research that shows that as long as you hit that minimum of 150 minutes per week, even working out on the weekends alone is just as healthy. I have not looked at that research yet.

According to my watch I’m more than hitting my activity minutes, although they’re all moderate intensity. I can only assume it’s my active job because I’m not exercising specifically other than walks.

Hanging out here for inspiration, my motivation and mood are both in my boots.

My Wellbutrin and switching the timing of my Geodon is lowering my appetite. I only had one soda today. I did have a small iced latte and a frappuchino. My carbs are kinda high but my calories are ok.
