Weird, weird, weird. This is my weight curve since Dec 1 when I intensified exercise. The weight went up, was at max in Feb, and then came down to a little less than the starting point.

I guess I will go by the advice of my dietitian–it is not the number on the scale but how your clothes fit.

My clothes most definitely fit better and I even started wearing tight biker shorts to workouts and to run errands about town. These (mind you, the pictures are from the store's website and not mine; I wear mine under long t-shirts that cover my tummy). And yes, the tummy definitely looks smaller and feels tighter, especially in these shorts that compress a little bit.

It was a splurge to buy quality workout bottoms but they make me feel good and look good at the gym which is motivating.

I cannot find tops to match so I wear old t-shirts. I have tried a pack of wicking t-shirts from Amazon but need to send them back because they are not long enough: when I move, they expose my belly.

I would say at present the belly is the only problem. I like how my legs look (and love how they feel) and am okayish with how my arms look.

Went to Orangetheory.

I was underslept, my own fault, so I intentionally did not push too hard. Accumulated only 4 splat points, all on the treadmill: I alternated between pushing at 4MPH and recovering at 3MPH, all at only 1% incline. My avg speed was 3.4 MPH.

Really liked the strength exercises and worked out with 25 lb dumbbells, one in each hand. Not bad.

Orangetheory does an excellent job making every workout different. So versatile. Somebody there must be working round the clock inventing these combos of moves and routines, a new one each day. And the flexibility part after each workout involves some stretches I have never done before. So fun!

My stats today:

4 orange mins
23 green mins
21 blue mins
4 gray mins (this must be when resting between strength exercises)

287 cal burned

144 peak HR, 117 avg HR

3478 steps

825 meters on the rower during 10 mins total

avg rowing speed 10.6 km/h

avg split 2:52 mins per 500 m which for me is good (Max: 01*:52 min/500m)

avg stroke rate 26.4

I ended up eating around 1,462 calories today. But I threw up actual pieces of rice half an hour ago so idk maybe knock off 100 calories or so. I feel like absolute garbage right now.

This past night, lowest HR was 56, average HR was 65. This is a record low for me. I hope this trend towards lower HR at rest continues.

Didn't eat much yesterday except pig out on my mom's veal, but the scale actually went down since I've upped my GOLO pills. Going to attempt to exercise today too once I get through my work for the day.

Today I've had 1'187 calories. I'm pretty high on carbs but whatever. I threw up a bit this morning.

Oura shows for today: almost 18k steps and almost 9 miles. I think Oura has a tendency to overestimate compared to Fitbit I had before but not by much.

How did I walk so much today?

Well, I locked myself out of my unit. I realized that at 8:20 PM. The man who has a spare key arrived to let me in at 11:20 PM. I waited for him for three hours while walking and walking to keep myself warm as I had only a thin blouse on.

My legs are sore and my right foot where I had a stress fracture in 2021 and again in 2022 is aching. I took 600 mg Ibuprofen and will rub Votaren gel, a topical NSAID, into the foot as O go to bed. I hope this will be enough to nip inflammation in the bud.

I will make more key copies and give them to my immediate neighbors to prevent such incidents.

I did enjoy walking in the dark, though.

I've had about 862 calories, 151 carbs, and I'm low at 17 grams of protein

I've thrown up pretty much everything today. I need to see a doctor

Just a little over 30 minutes of Zone 2 training today.

About 20 minutes on the rower, moderate intensity, AVG HR 107, MAX HR 117.

About 10 minutes on the elliptical without resistance, AVG HR 107 MAX HR 114.

I think it is all for today unless I find time for a walk around the complex right before bedtime.

I haven't thrown up today but I didn't eat much. I've only had 675 calories, 105 carbs, and 33 grams of protein. I did restart my weekly shot this morning I'm not sure if that has anything to do with my lack of hunger

No proper exercise for me for months, but like Tart Cherry I inadvertently ended up doing over 20,000 steps today owing to rubbish bus services. That’s something I guess.

75 mins of restorative yoga with a sub teacher. She did such good transitions between poses that I think I will be able to replicate her sequence at home. I have the props (yoga blocks, blankets, bolsters, a borrowed yoga strap, and a yoga mat). I just need to start doing it and not just pave the road to hell with good intentions.

I've had 1,340 calories, 148 carbs and 52 grams of protein. Puked a bunch again and not much stayed down. Overall I ate decently healthy stuff.

I recommend buying Voltaren gel if you expect these occasions to recur. I do not know if it is OTC in Britain; it is in the US.

It is a topical NSAID. Much safer than taking oral NSAIDs that can wreak havoc (GI issues).

In the past I had foot stress fractures twice from suddenly walking for a very long time, much longer than usual, and in my case it was also in wrong shoes. Maybe with the right shoes it is not an issue. But now, if I walk much more than usual, I rub Voltaren gel into my feet before going to bed and they are fine next morning.

I do not think such long walks are a problem if they are regular and your feet are used to it, but when it is a sudden change, it might be hard on your feet.

Thanks my feet are okay, I don’t normally walk that distance these days, mostly for time reasons but it seems I can still do it. I do like my chunky boots and think they must be pretty supportive.

Today I did just over 12,000 so more typical. That was just short to and fro trips. As my grandma used to say one of these days I’ll meet myself coming back

Today I've eaten pretty healthy and I only threw up my coffee. I've had about 979 calories, 128 carbs, and 31 grams of protein. I've been eating sunbutter, a pouch of tuna and an apple. I'm not sure what else I'll eat.
