I never in my life thought I would have a promblem going to the casino, and getting scratcher cards. When I was really in chruch I use to say how can people go to chruch on sunday, and be at the casino after they have heard the word of god and no that it is wrong. Until I started going myself.

Addictions don't care about Church. You may need to go to rehab. Bless your heart.

I heard that the same addiction is spread between Koran readers too, therefore mosque doesn't save them either. Now I really wonder why faith can't help in such cases?

I also am dealing with a gambler's pathology. The sucker really does make it easy to kid yourself about having a problem initially. The slide down takes a while, probably because there are no physical symptoms until you are so far into debt that stress makes you crazy. I haven't placed a bet since 4-19-07. Counseling helped a bit and so did Gamblers Anonymous, a 12-step program based on Alcoholics Anonymous. Remember, this pathology is sneakiest when you think you've got it licked. Be well.
