I don't generally care for him but was reading his advice for breaking an addiction and found it helpful for my TV and Internet ones:

yeah, its o.k.....I think you and I know anyway what to do just by common sense....and a tad of willpower.......I don't like Dr. Phil either and never want to read any of his stuff!

I also don't care for Phil as a therapist, but as advice giver...sometimes he does ok I agree...sounds like a plan for breaking such an addiction.
