Hi
I have rapid mood cycles and I drink when elated socially , its hard to control .When im level for short periods ( a week max ) I never drink in my house when depressed or elated , I don't eat drink alcohol or cravings for everything goes . My question is if I drink alcohol to the extreme that I want a buzz from it and it does ( or can ) ruin an evening as I like then to party , If Alcohol effects my life does that mean im an alcoholic ? however I can remember been on holiday a few years ago and not drinking but elated But now maybe I need help

Thank You

replies are welcome

the manic cycle is famous for impairing our inhibitions, or letting us run wild, usually much to our regret,,, if you can't control yourself, it might be wise to assign the job to someone who cares about you, and understands that you are truely impaired when manic~!
