I am going to try to not repeat my scrolling of the favorites/bookmarked links.
That is what happens. I keep going back to one site/forum or the other again and again to check to see for responses to my threads face book, yahoo mail, forums....and back again. sigh It is a real energy sucker. and makes me tired. good luck trying to moderate. I hear you and can relate to you. sounds the same, yes, with FB. I seem to control myself with other places as they aren't as active (excluding here. I'm just lazy to read sometimes). Sigh I checked FB again last night. At least there was interesting news though! Today I'm anxiously awaiting approval of a group, wasting time and worry on that. Much more wasteful if they don't approve me. Some groups are like that. Be weird with this one though as this is a larger one. Anyway...Oh, why am I addicted?? cuz it's the only place that has the fan groups of certain things I like. Yep, I checked and there aren't ones off FB. Sigh So they've got me wrapped around their finger.

Sitting so long makes me tired and I fall asleep catching my head as I fall forward. or my legs go to sleep or my butt hurts from sitting so long my eyes water from staring at the screen.
sigh The internet addiction is the hardest to shake in my book. bizi __________________ lamictal 2x a day haldol 2x a day cogentin 2x a day klonipin , 1mg at night, fish oil coq10 multi vit,, vit c, at noon, tumeric, caffeine Remeron at night, zyprexa, requip2-4mg |

Today was a difficult day to pass up fat pats for a beer. I kept thinking how I have stalled losing weight and how a couple of beers would not matter. But I resisted the urge.Came home and snacked on some almonds and a piece of cheese. Then I drank a diet (zevia with stevia all natural sweetener) root beer and it filled my need for something fizzy.(like a beer).
Anyway.... Had pork chop for dinner and left over broccolli salad from yesterday. 2 small pieces of dark chocolate. Tonight, I think I will have bowl of lite pop corn while watching seinfeld. Jeff is off playing pool with some friends/colleagues of his. I have some office work to do: catch up filing and finish the billing process. The front door is almost finished. Ian did a shoddy job so the contractor saw the door and they are going to fix the multiple problems. We love the new door its just they need to fix the problems. The guy who was working on it either quit or was fired. I took my car (red honda fit with zibra seat covers and a license plate that says "FOOT RN") into the shop for air conditioner problems, an air bag recall and oil change. It required service work and the air conditioner had a condenser failure. All told it will cost about $1800, to fix the problem and the part won't be here until thursday so I will be driving jeffs car again for 2 more days. His 2 door bright blue civic car is a bit sporty having a 6 speed manual transmission and a spoiler on the back.. I can drive a stick but can not put it into 6th gear! Luckily I could stay at 55mph and get away with that. lol Between drinking the zevia ginger root beer and chewing gum, I am keeping my mouth busy. So, I am not snacking and am resisting the beer sitting in the fridge. I have been on line for hours now so had better get my business work done. Have a nice evening yall! bizi __________________ lamictal 2x a day haldol 2x a day cogentin 2x a day klonipin , 1mg at night, fish oil coq10 multi vit,, vit c, at noon, tumeric, caffeine Remeron at night, zyprexa, requip2-4mg |

oh, Psych Forums, but I guess it's Psych Central Forums. Oops!
I've been reigning in my FB addiction. But I'm almost afraid to say anything about it because that's usually when I get back into it. Perhaps I won't this time. I'm getting distracted with other things, which is good. I check it once or twice a day now with the exception of a few days a week where I let myself indulge more thoroughly. It works for now. __________________ Celexa (Citalopram) 20mg Levothyroxine .75mg Liothyronine 5MCG (2x daily) Probiotics And a whole slew of vitamin and herbal supplements. |

"Federal health authority's said that suicide rates in the US had risen by 30% since 1999 and represents and increasing public health problem "
Interesting date . Pretty much around the time the internet took off in a big way . When we went "global" , comparing ourselves to every other person in the world and having information bombarded on us from all angles . Suddenly being able to communicate and exist on another level . Just a cerebral level involving your brain , your eyes and your keyboard . The information highway opened up everything to us , some really great things , and even more things we really don't need in our lives and are probably not healthy for us . |

I've been coming to the forum for a while, but never saw this until now. I have been addicted to the Internet for twenty years, from the time I was a teenager and went to my first chat room. It was then that I found a place I could say what I wanted and be what I wanted but still be able to hide.
These days, I have a job and other responsibilities, but the Internet/computer still rules me at the end of the day. It's no longer social for me. I don't chat, and I don't talk to anyone online, or at least only occasionally like on this forum. However, I will put off everything in order to get a "hit" of information. I probably check my favorite news site a hundred times a day. A few times a day, I check the Facebook pages of people I don't even like. I don't know why I do that. I watch YouTube videos endlessly. That is my biggest addiction. I have wasted so many hours, days, months of my life, rotting online, losing sleep and getting behind on life. The sad thing is, if I didn't have this addiction, I don't know what I'd do with my time. The other sad thing is, I often get offline to play the Sims, which is another issue. I'd rather play a fantasy version of life than the real one I have in myself. |

Hmm, I’m trying, but I don’t know if this will work.
I’m spending a little less time on this forum by trying not to get involved with new posters too much in bipolar forum. It seems to help. I do still spend too much time on the internet, but nothing is as addictive as this forum! |

I am doing my best not to get involved in so many threads on here. I do come read every day and post, like I’m doing now. I just need to narrow it down.
I’ve decided to restart the Topamax/Topiramate. That stuff does seem to help prevent migraines which I’ve had more problems with lately. I quit taking it before because of gastrointestinal effects, but my Reg doc said take Imodium. Now I’m thinking, why not... Bizi - do you still take L orotate? I bought some. I have to ramp down or quit the L carbonate. I can’t stand the urinating which is getting worse, not better. I read L orotate might help with addiction so I’m trying it. I’m going to ask the pdoc for something else for bipolar. She was talking Trileptal or Tegretol. I’m sick of psych meds causing weight gain. I hope the Topamax helps. I didn’t think it was doing anything, but in hindsight when I quit taking it, I gained 20 pounds! The Naltrexone only seems to work a few days then stops. I quit taking, then restart, same thing, works a few days then stops. I suspect I need a larger dose. Sigh. I don’t know if I want to go there. My situation is so hard to manage!! |

^I'm so sick of the weight gain too. Havent quite hit 20lbs and I really hope I don't, but 10 is enough and I've gotta fit into a dress at the end of the summer. Ugh!
I always check the internet section. I'm addicted, but it's getting nearly impossible to get on and keep up these days. I've narrowed it down to mostly this forum, but if I get a chance I'll be checking a few others. just saying hello and stuff! __________________ Celexa (Citalopram) 20mg Levothyroxine .75mg Liothyronine 5MCG (2x daily) Probiotics And a whole slew of vitamin and herbal supplements. |

The James taylor/ Bonnie raitt concert was great! We went to dinner ahead of time. Sat at a table for 8 including a 2nd cousin who I had not seen in years!
Spent time with both sides of the family in Indiana. It was good to see everyone, But am glad to be home. 2 weeks is a long time to be gone. And I only have a pill box for 2 weeks! I had to get some of my meds filled early due to them running out while I was gone. Wonder how people deal with meds when they go away for months? I have been on this computer for hours getting caught up. I was away from a computer for 2 weeks. I did miss it. (((((HUGS)))) for you guys! bizi __________________ lamictal 2x a day haldol 2x a day cogentin 2x a day klonipin , 1mg at night, fish oil coq10 multi vit,, vit c, at noon, tumeric, caffeine Remeron at night, zyprexa, requip2-4mg |
