I have lost all interest in everything in relation to my mental health and life changes. Since starting gabapentin, I am a bit better but still find that I have no interest in anything. I have two young kids with not a lot of free time. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations, something along the lines of an aptitude test, but not career-related, to identify interests or strengths. Thanks!

Hello bpdmme, welcome to Psych Central.

What did you used to like doing? Is there anything new you would like to try?

I don't know about aptitude tests but this link has quizzes and tests to do with mental health, relationships and personality. The personality tests may give you some ideas. Psychological Tests and Quizzes

Honestly, I have not had any passionate interests in about 15 years. I once enjoyed being a gymnast and a violinist, but those things were abruptly ended for me. I pretty much enjoy spending time with friends and organizing parties or events. However, anything else fails to hold my interest. Thank you for the link--I will look there.
