Hello beansrer,

I am not an expert and this a question for your doctor. Stimulants are likely to have the side effect of effecting blood pressure but you'll see from this article that stimulants are not the only choice for ADD. Medications Used in the Treatment of Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder | Psych Central and your doctor may know of one which is safe for you.

According to this article some high blood pressure medications can help manage associated ADHD symptoms like irritability. Medications to Treat ADHD - ADD/ADHD Center - Everyday Health

So, one would think there would be a combination of medications that you could take to treat both diagnosis.
