Hello. I am almost positive that I am a sociopath, however I do not want to falsely self-diagnose myself. So I was wondering if any of you were qualified psychologists, therapists, etc. That way I could get a professional's opinion on whether or not I am actually a sociopath.

Hello ECWGaming, welcome to Psych Central.

Psych Central is a self-help peer-led support community, so no we do not have qualified mental health pofessionals here specifically for diagnosing. We do have some good online tests and quizzes that you can take and print out to show a mental health professional. Links here >>>> The Sanity Score - Test Your Mental Wellness and http://psychcentral.com/quizzes/

Ya know...the thing is, if you're having concern about being a sociopath you're probably not a sociopath. There are tons of online tests. It's been my experience that oftentimes people who refer to themselves as sociopathic are actually repressing feelings and emotions that are uncomfortable for them. Just a thought.

That's so true Sister Rags...kind of the reverse of 'if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck'.....more like, when you see hoof prints, think horse, NOT zebra! lol
