Dear Pegasus,
I don't know where to ask this question or ask for feedback, but I thought you might help.. I often feel like with all the emotional, spiritual, psychological and relational issues I have, that I often lose sight of the "bigger picture." I know there are 'universal truths' that transcend religions, societies, cultural norms, etc. Some things are just true and have always been true no matter how far the pendulum swings at any certain time. Feeling lost and seeking are part of my process...also want to be able to identify some things that are solid and unchanging and true, since everything around me feels slippery and shaky. I have studied many religions just reading, and books and psych texts and such...not talking about the definable say laws of physics, but more the basic premises of ethics and life and happiness and fulfillment. What do I want to feel or know before I die? Could you help me open a discussion on what some people regard as universal truths or archetypes for them? Would this be a relevant discussion to have here anyway? It's not really spiritual, is mental health related, and relationship related, motivational, what mental health and balance look like...I don't know... *sigh* Thanks, Wysteria Blue

Hello Wysteria, I think the place to start this discussion would be in the Other Mental Health Discussion forum. You'll get more feedback there than you would here I think.
