I am new to this group site and am confused about a few things, I am hoping some one could help me figure things out on here, When can I post things on here, When can I join the chat groups, When can I friend request people, Do I have to post some thing so many times or answer other peoples posts, I hope some one can help me because I want to start getting answers to my problems and start making friends with my same illness

Dear Raincloud,

I think my forum posts went through without prior moderation after 5 posts. Not sure about the others, but I have about 40 posts now, and have been able to accept a friend, and join chat. There might be a FAQ that can tell you in the forums.

Hi, Raincloud, and welcome to Psych Central! I am Travelinglady, a liaison here. The way the process works is all new members' first few posts are moderated (read by folks here called moderators) to see if the posts are okay. If a post is approved by them, then it will appear on the forum screen where it was posted. Members can post in any forum from the get-go. But it will take awhile for the posts to actually show up.

After a member gets five posts approved, then the member can join social groups and enter into the chat rooms. And the member's posts will appear as soon as the appropriate place is clicked on such as "Submit reply."

We liaisons are here to help you new folks out, so please feel free to contact us if you have other questions and concerns, raincloud. Just click on our name(s) in blue and leave a message. Okay? We sure don't want folks to be confused!

I am also new and learning how things work. My first post was my introduction,as a new thread. This will be my second post,if my introduction counts as the first.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
