A Smear campaign has ruined my life. A new person came to our village and she has caused terrible problems for me - telling lies, creating terrible problems for me. The other people here did not know me well and they have just believed her. I have now been totally isolated/excluded. No one is talking to me anymore.
I have done nothing to deserve this. The other people were not people I would call 'friends' - but at least they were talking to me. I am in a foreign country working, away from my family. It has turned into a nightmare here because of a Sociopath who wanted to mess up my whole life. |

Hello Marg5, I always think that people like that get found out in the end. What people say tends to be a reflection on them, not you. Just be you and carry on, in time people will see the truth. I'm sure you will find some new friends soon.

I totally agree with Pegasus on this one Marg5. If you protest or try to set people straight it will all become a tangled mess. Just get on with living, and she will soon find someone else to victimise.

Marg you must be going through Hell.
I am so sorry to hear you are going through this, and they will get their karma, oh yes they will indeed. People just follow the 'monkey see monkey do' approach because they feel safer in numbers, even the nice and reasonable ones we meet in our lives. Is there a group of people in the village who you could approach for help, for example a priest if you are religious, or someone of a similar status religious or not to seek some objective advice on the situation? Good luck and i'm totally on your side
