Hi,

I have severe anxiety if I have to leave my house. Not all the time, just when something bad is going on in my life. I have anxiety meds, but the perscription is expired and I am afraid of doing anything illegal. I would not even leave if it was for me, but a friend needs me to go with her, so I am. But I am fighting back tears and my heart is beating very fast and I am crazy.
I feel like if I am at home, I am reasonably safe. How crazy am I?

Thank you.
Hugs from:

You're not crazy, I have the same problem. Have you considered therapy? It's pretty helpful for things like this

I have been thru that. If your meds were helping you need to get them renewed. You are not crazy...no more than I was anyway ...it's a subconscious response going on in your body. Do get treatment if you can. There are ways you can learn to manage your anxiety and panic. PM me if you want and I can try to help you.
