I need help understanding what this anxiety is. All these different feelings I have and the not knowing what they are from. Out of nowhere chest pain, tingling, pressure around my ears and wondering what next. I just walk through life with no meaning. How does anxiety do this? I've read a lot, been tested for various things and ER visits. Still scared and hate living like this. I just don't know

Hello angelswalk,

Yes anxiety causes many physical symptoms. We have a flight or fight mechanism within us where we prepare to run or face it but with anxiety we are unable to do that. So your body prepares for the danger. More about anxiety here >>> Anxiety, Panic and Phobia Center - Psych Central Anxiety and stress can cause high blood pressure, heart problems, stomach problems, headaches and more!

If you are experiencing chest pain though, you need to get checked out by a doctor incase it is the start of something more sinister.
