Hello. Roo . I've had depression anxiety stress in the past ,
then I had under active thyroid which overlapped, then depression , then I started have stomach/fatigue/ feves for years , docs thought it was my depression , I said my depression was like an oppressive fugue , I had two endoscopys , put on omeprazole , still had physical symptoms , started loosing loads of sleep, it took them another 4/5 years to find I had gallstones , I was walk-in around like one of those blokes in a Saharan desert film ,
As anyone here think they had depression but it turned out later to be something else or vice versa ?
Thanks for this!

My depression was pretty apparent to everyone but me I guess. That, the PTSD and the anxiety were a complete surprise.

A side effect of omeprazole is to worsen depression. I had to quit taking it for that reason. You may want to consider doing the same.
Thanks for this!

Hello bread fish , thanks I didn't know omeprazole worsened depression, I've lately been put on lanzoprazole , I do have hayfever , and I know antihistamines can have side effects.
