My gf & I have been dating for 7 months & she has been having hallucinations & about a month ago i asked her how long has she been having them & she said since school has started which was September 2nd & I told her she need to tell her aunt so she can see a doctor but her aunt doesn't believe her & I remember her telling me about the hallucinations in the beginning of the year but they went away & now there back she says she has dreams more like nightmares of a little girl & she keeps hearing this man saying her name & idk if it's her medication cuz she's anemic or if she could be schizophrenic so can someone please help me I'm really worried..

Hello there,

It does not necessarily mean that she is schizophrenic. People can have psychosis (hallucinations/delusions) as part of another illness. How stressed out or distressed is your girlfriend? If she is anemic and on medication, is the doctor already aware of the hallucinations? Can you persuade your girlfriend to see her doctor or talk to one of the teachers at school about it?
