So, I have anxiety, ocd, panic etc... I have been struggling with a weird symptom. Here is an example. My friend described an apartment to me and I got a weird sick feeling when picturing it. Kinda like a distorted dreamy feeling. It made me feel sick this emotion that I can't explain. It also made me start seeing my surroundings in that same way. It's this anxiety related? Any ideas what it could be and why?

Hello martymart1979, sounds like derealization which is a sensation that can occur in an anxiety inducing situation. >>>>> Depersonalization / Derealization Disorder Symptoms | Psych Central

Maybe you need to start making some changes in life. Make a check list of what is bothering you in real life, and how you want to change it. The sick feelings are telling you something.

Is this a place you're thinking about moving into? If it is maybe it's a sign you don't like the place.

The scenario you have described does sound like anxiety to me and I think it was bought on by a multitude of factors and the derealisation was triggered by something within your environment

My wish for you is that you are able to find strategies to mitigate these symptoms.

Please let us know how you go.
