My light box arrived yesterday from Amazon. Used it yesterday for an hour or more, and currently have it on as I type this. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression years ago and managed it with medication. I finally decided to try the light box this year to see if it can help me get through this rough patch I'm currently experiencing. Has this been very helpful for you? Is there a best time or way to use it based on your experience?

They say not to use it in the evenings as it can mess with your sleep.

I use one in the AM's but not religiously. It's hard to say if it's helping me - so much shyte is constantly going on for me. I think only having the actual SUN hovering over my head at 18" would do the trick for me.

I hear you. If I could just win the the darn lottery, some of the $#!+ going on with me wouldn't matter. That doesn't seem to be happening yet, so I'm trying it out. Turned it off now, since you reminded me that it said not to use close to bed time.

wrt time of day for use.

They say - and I have myself experienced - that you twist up your circadian rythm by using the light later in the day (stay awake at night and sleep during daytime).
