I watch supernatural and I sometimes have the tendency to want to act like some of the "monsters" they kill on the shows in some of my relationships.

I wouldn't say that is psychotic, psychotic usually refers to people who hear voices, hullicinate and experience alternative realities.

Whereas with you, you have been watching tv, you feel you identify with some characters on tv, and in some of your relationships you've acted like, or wanted to act like a 'monster' whatever that means

perhaps you may need some counselling, perhaps you need to find a partner who you'll love and want to treat nicely, but this doesn't make you psychotic.

i think sometimes it is not so bad watching such things mentioned and getting your rage out from these shows, as long as you know it isnt real life and you wouldn't try it in reality. it is therapeutic sometimes too.

Maybe you feel like a monster is some of those relationships. Maybe you want to be like one of those monsters because the relationship is that bad. Best to reexamine those relationships and cut back on those shows.

There is nothing abnormal about getting lost in a fantasy world from time to time. And I , personally, have a tendency to care about or feel like characters in fav.shows are real people sometimes. IMHO, that is not psychotic it is just the stamp of a well written show/ movie. Do you enjoy these acts/thoughts? Or do you feel "compelled" (driven or instructed by force, not your own,) to act out these senerios?

If you think you are psychotic then you need to see a professional. It's irresponsible for someone on the Internet to diagnose you without a complete picture of your symptomology.

I love supernatural. I never watched it before and even made my boyfriend STOP watching it years ago because I thought it was ridiculous. But then I binge watched it on some channel. I am not a doctor or even someone to be giving advice, but I would think that if you are acting out in what you are watching, and it can be hurtful to you or yourself, I mean, it doesn't hurt to see someone.

That's not psychotic. I was watching that American Horror Story series and I started to have some scary thoughts stemming from the stuff on the show, told my therapist and he recommended I not watch the show. Lately I have been wishing I could become a superhero and take care of all the filth, but I am an idealist. I also grew up on movies and video games. Sometimes at different points in my mood I act like demonic person towards the woman I have a child with and live with. It isn't psychosis per se even though it is being a little out of touch.of reality, immature and if you act on the impulses to act like the demons you are acting contrary to what is acceptable and can probably scare people.
