Does anyone else happen to see these things? I see what appears to be bugs crawling around or a shadow man so I take a second look but nothing. I think it happens when I dissociate but I haven't been diagnosed with that. I blank out all the time.

The orange flares come and go. Usually when my head looks up this orange flare blocks my vision only lasting a half second. It doesn't happen every time my head raises but that seems to be the main problem. Thanks so much

My fiancé says I blank stare sometimes and I think now I'm actually finding it alarming.

Do you take any psych medications?

I clicked on this thread because the title sounded like a group of almost-hallucinations that I had for a few weeks several years ago. When it happened, I was under a tremendous amount of stress, and I was taking Effexor, clonazepam, and Ambien.

I don't know if the stress or the meds caused the almost-hallucinations, but they stopped after a few weeks.

I hope that yours will stop. Even if they're mild, as that sort of thing goes, they are definitely disconcerting.
Thanks for this!

I take an antidepressant and sometimes antihistamine. The combination between the two are safe from what my doctor told me and from what I've read.

I'm pretty sure it is from the medication and I also am always under high amounts of stress and anxiety. I consider it mild but it's worth asking my doctor. Thank you for the reply.

I actually think it's a build up to the orange flare. It starts with what looks like a bug so I look at it but nothing is there. A moment later I think I see it again but my brain isn't telling me that it's not actually there so I look again and again and again.

The flare in my face then usually happens sometime after that. It's so close I want to ask other people if they seen it. It's the weirdest thing

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines? I have visual interference sometimes during migraines with or without a headache. I think they are migraines because my head feels odd but with no pain and other times I have pain, but I will get swirls of patterns in my visual field as if I was looking at light for a while. Or sometimes I will see flashes of light in my peripheral, or floaters and stars. I never really thought of them as hallucinations just symptoms of migraines, low blood sugar, low oxygen to the brain (low blood pressure), or high blood pressure.

I see the shadow people and the bugs when I am not on medicine. As for the flare, I haven't seen one yet.

I haven't had a headache in a very long time. Same with a migraine. I see the floaters as well.

I took a sip of pop today and it did it again. I wonder if it's a symptom for glaucoma
