Does anyone else struggle on the weekend? I get this feeling of emptiness and frustration with life. I struggle all the time but have an especially hard time coping on the weekend. Is this normal?

I have a problem with the free time. I used to just sleep it away. After starting school I have things to do and it's better. I've discovered that if I find things I have to do I don't sink into sadness so much.

Yes weekends can be hard for me. I often spend Saturdays watching TV or reading and responding to posts here. Sundays are the hardest for me. I look around and see all the housework I could have done but didn't.

I am the opposite. It is the weekdays that I find so difficult.

I dislike weekends, but Sundays are the worst for me. I feel you.

I have trouble with weekends too. They leave me feeling depressed.

I also hate them. They are no different from me than the week, same $hit waiting for me. I get a break from some weekday $hit, but then it starts again on Monday, which I hate also.

Sunday is esp. hard since it's the start of another week the next day. They are so boring. I can't even get on PC since the libraries are closed on Sundays and I don't have a smart phone.

I esp. hate it when the weather man makes a big deal about how nice the weather will be on the weekend, like everyone is off, has someone to do things with, and has the money to do it. I don't care if we have bad weather on the weekend. I actually prefer it, since I don't go anywhere anyway. And people who brag about their great weekend to me could have their plans ruined by the weather.

Not everyone is off on the weekend, a lot of employers make you work Saturdays at least.

And not everyone even has a job. This fact is often forgotten or overlooked.
