During the day I feel drained and zero motivation at night I get a second wind it's just more peaceful and calm to me, I am not sure if it's a bad habit to get in to... but it's the only time I don't feel like I am being pulled in 50 directions. and it's much easier to fill my own cup when there aren't so many people around.

Hello Ht32: Some people are just biologically programmed to be night people I think. My spouse is a morning person. I struggle in the mornings & come alive (to the extent I ever am) at night. It's just the way it seems to be...

Ive always enjoyed the night. I have extreme stimuli sensitivities so i like the night cuz its quiet and not busy with ppl and cars and lots of confusion also i have always been very light sensitive as well so i dont do well with sunny days. But honestly the night is very lonely as well. My ideal weather is warm overcast foggy and heavy rainy days. I like the sound of rain and thunder and i can sit on my porch without fearing unseen critters crashing thru the brush or spiders or shadows. The humidity feels good on my skin and the fog rain and dark cloud cover fills the soace in the air and makes me ferl like the world is a smaller safer place in general.

I am a complete night person, dwelling in the shadows

I have noticed the past few years, I have become a total night person. Its peaceful, quiet and dark and inviting! I love it completely!

Yaasssss! At times when I'm free to make my own schedule, I naturally end up being nocturnal. I worked night shift all of last year and LOVED it! I definitely plan on working overnights when I finish nursing school. If only they had nocturnal nursing school...that would just be perfect!

I'm a night person, too. There is something about the late night that feels so good!

I was a night person when young, and that was when I felt the most free, and creative. I miss that.

I’ve always been a night person. I used to stay up all night and go to bed when it turned daylight. I guess mostly it was because that was when I could be as alone as possible after my parents went to bed. I just felt more alive at night. I'm not a morning person at all so I struggle from the time I get up until around the evening. Although I no longer stay up all night, it‘s still my favorite time of the day. It’s peaceful and calm but also mysterious which makes it somewhat scary at times (if you’re outside) but I don’t mind it too much…I like mysteries. It does get pretty lonely at night as someone already mentioned but I still love the night time.

That's the best time for me all my worries and fears seem to disappear as dusk falls and the night creeps in.
