Is there anyone here who has experience with Veteran's Affairs (Canada)? Specifically I am looking for anyone who has been approved/denied applications for Disability Benefits.
What was the process? How were you able to show your mental illness was caused or impacted by events during your career? How long did the process take? If it was denied, do you mind sharing the reasons and what would you have done differently? Finally, if you receive/received other assistance (ie. provincial), was this impacted by the Disability Pension? thx |
