How many of you guys still let yourselves dance regardless of if you look cool or not?

I was dancing about 30 minutes ago and enjoyed it. I dance like no one is watching cause they aren't....and I don't judge my own coolness because I fear I don't have the objectivity but I think I get down and funky and it feels good so no shame

It's been a few years since with this recent depression that lingers on, but I've been known to let it fly when that perfect song strikes. It's a great exercise. I wish I could remember which songs make me want to dance.

![]() Ever listen to "Best Friend" by Toy Box? I do that one a lot. But my favorite song to dance to (and I hate this song) and always dance towards my fiance to is: Smile.dk - "Butterfly". See if you can get into it. ![]()

because of my classic autism i constantly rock and dance whether standing or sitting and ive never been aware of other people watching me.
i was dancing/rocking while myself and my two support staff were in a park and a old man who passed me told me to never stop dancing and how cool it was that i didnt care,i cant remember the exact words he said.

This is a rather interesting post for me...
I had "You Can Call Me Al" on in the bathroom while I was getting ready for bed and I got happy and wanted to dance. (I didn't because I was brushing my teeth...the point is that I WANTED to). I remembered what "happy" was...I remembered joy. I haven't felt that in 5 years. It was the most bittersweet 30 seconds. |

Well, I really don't have much of a night life; but...
I dance at home. All the time. I have caught people on the street looking up at me but I don't care - I'm a dancing queen and in the moment. My boyfriend and I will jive or slow dance for all to see and it makes me feel wonderful. This is not only about the human connection but is in a way being assertive and confident. |
