What is the purpose of my life without the existence of love?

Am I living in this world, and one of the major purposes is to seek for love?

If I seek it, I just make unnecessary failures and this therefore hugely demoralizes me and demolishes my self-esteem.

But what if I don’t seek it, life becomes easier but I feel that it’s lacking of purpose, and that my life is missing something. As a result, I just become a more cold, and unpassionate person who don’t give a ***** to anything in the world.

I am just confused with my life right now. I don’t really know why am I even living in this world if I am not trying, while trying doesn’t really work as intended and will just scar me even more, and thus leading to me doubting of the value of trying.

Many of us never realize our purpose, however, that doesn't mean we don't have one. Maybe the right person hasn't come along for you to love yet. Be patient. Your purpose could be beyond love.

Maybe your purpose is finding your purpose. That's a job we all have

Hey. I kind of get where you are coming from. From personal experience it sounds like you're having a crisis of some kind, mostly an existential crisis. I have this all the time. Many people do, in fact.
I understand you that you don't want to try things because they might only make matters worse. I have a pretty similar view as a pessimist.
However, I would like to give you a brief summary of how I see it.

Love is important. We all know that. And when you have not found it, it feels like it doesn't exist to you. You feel left out when you see others in love, and you're not.
However it is still needed in life; thanks to love we unlock many emotions, and so many experiences. Love enables us to build up many pleasant memories. And it is said that at the end of the day, your memories are all you have left. They are all you have to reminisce in the future; they are like a scrap book of your life leading up to the present moment. In them we can relive moments and feelings with beloved people. It's what makes us happy.

On the other hand, some people do not need love for this. They have their own way of life which enables them to create these memories, pleasant and happy emotions etc. So no, you do not need it.

So overall, don't feel as if you need to seek for love to be happy and live life. Love can be an important feature, but it doesn't have to be the centre of your life. No matter how cliche it is, do what makes you most comfortable and happy. If you can't find what makes you happy, just simply focus on the little things you enjoy. You will eventually find it.

Hope I helped at least a little bit
