Hey all, I have recently been put on Wellbutrin and while doing some drug interaction research it mentioned Gabapentin being less than ideal while on Wellbutrin. I'm not on a large dose of Wellbutrin but take a good amount of Gabapentin. Is anyone else on this combination? Thoughts? Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

I would say as long as you aren't experiencing anything I wouldn't worry. Everyone reacts differently. Just be mindful of any sudden changes in your thoughts or actions I guess.
Thanks for this!

I still take 150 mg Wellbutrin a day. For a while I took that with 300 mg gabapentin in the evening. Though it helped with anxiety, it also made me feel a bit foggier--ie slowed down my thoughts a bit. I am currently doing a bit of part time, temporary work scoring student papers--I know if I was taking it, I would score slower and less accurately.....
Thanks for this!

Yes, that's one of my concerns. Not that I'm able to work now anyway. I'm thinking about asking my pdoc to take me off the gabapentin. Just not sure what my options are. I've been on everything else.
