It's all rather tragic.

I'm a seventeen year old and I used to have a lot of friends and belong to a big group of friends. But then we all went our separate ways. Now I just feel lonely, isolated and alienated from everyone.

People at school think I'm weird. I did a few silly things too (nearly got expelled) and people don't really want to be my friend. But you know what? I don't care. I don't want to be their friend either. They are all stupid and I actually thought about killing them all today.

No one at school has any fun anymore, it's just so boring and I get so bored so easily. And I get angry too, and I know I need new friends but it's not that easy is it? Making friends is not easy in my situation. I need to go out, but there's nothing to do. Nowhere to go. Just alienation and loneliness.

Hi Crazykid,

I definitely don't have any "credentials", shall we say, for giving advice or anything. . . I'm seventeen too and I just joined this forum and have a lot of things I'm struggling with without having come up with any solutions yet.
But, I do often times feel lonely, like you, so if nothing else I can tell you that you are not alone. I think I am lonely for different reasons, but loneliness is loneliness no matter the reason and it just plain sucks.

Is there anyone that you're still close to? Anyone at all. One good friend, a cousin, sibling, parent, you name it. Because what has helped me a lot is having one or two people that I'm really close to. For me, it's my mom and my cousin. That way, even when I feel like I have no other friends or like nobody understands me, I've still got them. So maybe if there's just one or two people you have a good relationship with, you could focus on building up that relationship, and making it stronger.
Not trying to force religion on you or anything, but thought I'd also mention that I'm a Christian and that's probably what helps me most, maybe you would find it helpful too?

Anyway, I'm sorry I don't have much else to offer. But I wanted to tell you that no matter how alone you feel, you're never alone. There are always people that care about you. And God loves you. Plus, I'm here for you even if I'm just some random person on the internet. Feel free to message me privately if you want.
Hang in there!!
