This happens to me not sure why maybe someone could give me an understanding of why and is this common?[/U]
Walking into a room of people do you have that feeling of being lost? When being shown something new does your heart rate increase, anxiety and fear of failure overwhelms you, suddenly you are unable to focus and at that point freeze with a million thoughts released trying to comprehend the simplest of instructions. If only you could relax, slow your thoughts down and have that pin point focus. Are you always in fear of the thoughts of others?
  1. How do they perceive me?
  2. What judgments are they making?
  3. Do they comprehend my interpretations?
  4. Why do I comprehend their responses as judgments?
  5. Why do I see a smile as a condescending look?
  6. Why do I see a wink as, your better than me?
  7. What are the personal attributes that others are drawn to?
  8. Is it looks?
  9. Is it eye contact?
  10. Is it our facial expressions?
  11. How we respond?
  12. Would one person’s confidence draw in others?
  13. Is it the way we dress and our stance?
  14. What words to be spoken in a conversation upon first meeting?
  15. Would our tone of voice influence others?
  16. Would height make a difference?
If the following where total strangers standing in a room which one would people be drawn to?
1. 6’1 well dressed with a look of confidence, nice smile, great skin tone and knowing nothing.
2. Or 5’4 glasses balding in casual clothes but a wealth of knowledge.
Would they first approach No 1 lose interest but stay because of presentation?
Would anyone approach No 2? And if they did, would they stay because No 2 was more interesting? Or would they go back to No 1? Just simply because of their presentation?
Would you want to be seen standing around a little bald man with glasses in casual clothes?
Wouldn’t you rather be standing beside the tall well dressed stranger that exudes confidence?

People will have varying opinions but I'd rather stand by the person who is interesting and puts me at ease. Personality, intelligence and sense of humor matter more to me then looks. Best wishes.

Time to stop worrying about what others think of you.
