Anyone get this depressing feeling after a event? Usually it happens to me when it is a day hanging out with friends. It can be anytime. We could be doing something fun somewhere or just simply hanging out and once we are done, I will start to get this depressed feeling, like post-event let down. During my college years, it rarely happened since I was always seeing them but before and after college, it is more frequent. And even if I am at an event that I am not having fun at, I will still feel slightly depressed for some reason even if I am secretly happy the event is over. Anyone else get depressed after an event whether you had fun or not? Just wondered. In a way, I think it is kind of a longing to have the fun back, but at the same time, don't know why I get depressed if I am not having fun at an event and am glad it is over.

I get the same feeling. Usually I'm anxious before an event and feel slightly depressed afterwards.
Thanks for this!

I know for me there is a letdown. I think it may be because of the adrenaline that's released during those events.
Thanks for this!

I feel this way. I went to Minnesota in May and I miss having the trip to look forward to. Lately I try to find something to look forward to. It can be as simple as looking forward to the seasons changing or going grocery shopping for something you really want. This is how I keep going. Finding little things to look forward too.
Thanks for this!
