I read somewhere that most ticklish people can only be tickled by other people but schizophrenics can also tickle themselves.

I'm not schizophrenic but when I was a kid I could tickle myself.

I can tickle myself and others can tickle me. I used to be able to shut off the tickle mechanism (does that even make sense?) which always confused people to no end! Now tho, pedicures are torture, like knee jerking, leg jumping torture, and I can't make it stop... so I try to do it myself... still not pleasant, but not as bad...

I have heard this.

I am not schizophrenic as far as I know, but I can tickle the bottom of my feet.
