Hey everyone, I have a question. Ever since I was about 13 I've felt as if something bad happened to me during my childhood, and to this day I still do. I was just wondering if this is a normal thing. Does anyone else have this feeling?
Thanks

Welcome to psych central

I don't know if it's normal or not. If you feel that way maybe something happened. Have you tried talking to a therapist to help you understand these feelings?

Hello. Welcome to PC. I agree that a therapist might be of benefit.

In all probability, some thing did. Working with a Therapist may help you remember it, or if the feeling relates to a memory.

Do you recall anything of your childhood? Sometimes we can block things out but still have the feeling something happened. Yes talking to a therapist will help.

Thanks everyone for replying. The thing is that I'm afraid to talk to anyone about it, and if I go to a therapist my parents will know I see a therapist and I really don't want them to know.

Thank you for replying. The thing is that I don't remember much about my childhood. When I think about my childhood it's all foggy, the things that I do remember are really vague and seem not real
