I had that happen. I would be talking to someone & totally lose track of what I was trying to say or couldnt get the word.

It was definitely stress & it was also because I lived with a H who was IMPOSSIBLE to cimmunicate with.

Left him & most of the constant stress & also started taking omega -3 EPA 1800/day for depression & the DHA helped the mind. The combination of less stress & the omega -3 helped & it was a noticeable difference...it hit me with a "WOW, I can think again" After being a high functioning computer engineer, having my mind go blank fely horrible....some of the meds they tried didnt help either. For me stopping everything except the Omega-3 helped....not the solution for everyone though.

Meds can have that effect but sometimes they are critically necessary & all that is possible is to counter the side effects the best we can.

I learned when I had reactions like that to go back over what I was just doing/thinking/feeling and that uncovers whatever upset me, and like Pachy mentioned, i'd find I had just momentarily been on overload and wanted to get away from a scary/stressful thought or feeling; some times it is like flipping a switch, you just turn off for a moment, reset :-)
