Is there any case study of psychotherapy going wrong?
That doesn't include sexual abuse.

So what I mean by that is.
Is there study of a thearpist that been emotionally abusive towards the client or made the symptoms worse for the client. So for example you have increase suicidal thoughts, self harm and attempts to end your life.
Also your health due to the high stress of psychotherapy you end up getting sick frequently.
Lets put it this way you are in the same postion as you were when you first started but a lot worse in the head/ mind.

Yes i found a really good pyschologist about 6 years ago and a counsellor. They both have been very helpful and understanding. Because the counsellor was from the church and no licence from the provincal board i cant complain wish i could. Im sorry you have been treated that way too by a student pysch. Are you going to seek out another therapist?

When a Therapist does re-enforce things, sometimes the reverse will happen, and one will feel worse. It all the part of healing.

I had a psychiatrist insult me to my face and tell me that I belonged in prison after I told him about DH's (my dark alter) delusions of Grandeur and thirst for power. It was very difficult for me to tell him that and he acted like he hated me for talking about it. When I'd asked him if he could give me something to calm me down he threatened to give me a shot that would make me do absolutely nothing for a week. The second time I went back to that same ward he told me that that wasn't some kindergarten for me to come too when ever I had a temper tantrum. When a brother of mine also in the medical field heard of all of this he was infuriated and he doesn't get angry easily. He told me that that guy was on his way to having his license pulled and that before he went back home he was probably going to stop by the guy's office to speak to him.
That was years ago. A google search fetched results that he is still practicing in Winston-Salem. His name is "Dr Thai Phan" and this all took place at Forsyth Hospital in Winston-Salem. Figured I'd give people here a heads up to steer clear of this guy if you live in Forsyth County, NC.
As unbelievable as it all sounds, I swear on my dear mother's grave that it happened and swearing is something that I don't take lightly.
