The main problem I have is ... I take almost everything someone says to me as being negative and what they say upsets me. Trouble between fact and fiction and reality.

Maybe they did not intend to be condescending and belittling but I take it that way.

Is there a treatment?

I would think so, but it would have to be professional help.

CBT, you appear to be suffering from cognitive distortions of some type.

in regards to your title of the thread.... be my psychologist....

sorry no can do. this is a support group not a substitute for actually contacting your own or a treatment provider in your off computer location...

you can contact a moderator but its my understanding that we cant tell you what your problems are, whether you are having this or that problem or in any way leading you to a diagnosis.

all we can do here is tell you what we go through and if its something in common with you we can tell you what that is called in our selves. but we cant tell you what is going on inside your own body. only you and your treatment providers can tell you what you are diagnosed with , suffering from and any other forms of making a diagnosis.

example I can tell you that in .......me..... what you posted is called paranoia and psychosis. my treatment providers have me on medication for this problem.

to find out what this is in you, please contact a mental health treatment provider in your off the computer location or your medical doctor. they will be able to tell you what this is and refer you to a psychologist or psychiatrist or therapist.

Maybe some of the things said to you, are negative. Some do say negative things, and they are common. Up to you to find the real truth.

I've been through five (5) costly sessions of CBT and what it got me is:

1) here are some meditation internet sites

2) four (4) guns drawn policeman yelling ... we know you are in there ... do you want us to break down your door ... if we do it won't be pleasant for you ... you need to come with us ...

I didn't open my door and didn't come with them but am even MORE anxious about when they will return

I need therapy like I need a hole in my head

and my major issue was an anxiety disorder

that should help ... don't you think!

I was actually thinking more along the lines of a workbook or an app, but ok

Been to five psychiatrists ... all they did was give me sertraline and buspirone

My therapist went to her five times and all she did was send the police and tell me to watch some meditation videos on the internet

True help comes from people who have experienced the same

Should a well schizophrenic have at least a circle of friends? Am I really sick if I haven't managed to make a few friends?

When I log in I see a sponsor link at the top for online therapy. I haven't personally checked it out, but it's at the top of the page.
