Hi,
Has anyone had problems purchasing life insurance? I have been trying to help my son purchase a small life insurance policy. Almost every company denies coverage after I answer the mental health questions, or they will ask for permission to access prescription records, which I am certainly not willing to permit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Back when I was 18 I went to State Farm with my dad to buy a Life Insurance policy. They didn't ask any questions.

Where are you? Some answers could depend on your country or region. Some regions have laws against medical questionnaires that limit questions or questionning altogether. My own insurance gives me full coverage despite my mental health issues.
