Why do I need constant reassurance that everything is OK ? I always ask why and how. I have to understand everything.

Were you getting the emotional reassurance, the validation as a small child? If not, then the pattern of constantly seeking the reassurance may have started back then. The mind is molded to a large degree in those early years, so the psychologists say. I think it's true.
