Hello friends, i am trying to find more information about a situation (not sure how to call it) when a person is watching a lot of TV/movies alone on their screens and these media universe(s) becomes more vivid world then their reality. This is not someone who is hearing voices etc but more totally immerse in fiction then reality.
any suggestions? Thank You

Hm-m-m-m... there doesn't seem to be anything here. Well anyway... welcome to Psych Central, MikaBloom. I hope you find PC to be of benefit.

Some tv shows I can get lost into which is helpful for me.

My go too is books I have a few book series that just suck me in so I can escape hectic life when need be.

If your so sucked into tv or movie that your not able to go about daily hygiene , work or sacrificing sleep then I think it’s an okay activity
