I ordered a few personal things online. I told my mom I ordered the stuff since she has my credit cards. I told her I had to order personal things that were important for me right now. She didn’t ask any questions just said ok I could order them. But when the packages start coming to the door I’m wondering how to avoid any awkward encounters. I’m thinking of just saying “it’s personal, and I really don’t want to talk about it.” She’s not really one to push questions like that. Especially since she’s been so supportive with everything else. I just really don’t want to talk to her about it. Does anyone have any suggestions if she starts asking questions?

I got one thing in undetected. This was the most important thing since the packaging wasn’t 100% discreet. I was able to get it upstairs and the box thrown out. My mom said “was that your shirt?” And I said “no it’s just something” I did mention to my therapist that I was getting stuff and she said it was no big deal.

I think you are handling just right. It is personal and not of concern to her.
