I don't know the answer to this. But I noticed no one had yet replied to your post. So I thought I would.
![]() ![]() Your question may be one you'd need to consult a mental health professional on. My instinct would be to say something like this is certainly possible. But I really don't know. ![]() One thing I seem to be experiencing recently is symptoms that seem similar to what is referred to as "sundown syndrome". Often sundown syndrome is linked to dementia; but not always. Every afternoon somewhere between 3 & 4 o'clock or so I begin to get really anxious, sort of dizzy & dissociated. I've even noticed my gait seems to feel a bit odd, sort-of as if I were walking through a field of mud, if that makes any sense. I haven't checked in with my doctor about what I'm experiencing. ![]() Anyway... perhaps there will yet be other PC members who will be able to offer some insights into what you are experoencing. Best wishes... ![]()

Do you mean clinical or situational depression can turn into bipolar? i believe that bipolar can be misdiagnosed as situation or clinical depression but I do not believe they can 'turn into' bipolar IMO>
