I personally think it’s all about appearance for an eating disorder and how you present yourself. If you act like an attention seeker people aren’t going to take you seriously. This girl I knew was constantly trying to get help and posting weird stuff all over Facebook but the hospitals kept refusing her treatment because she didn’t look like she had one and they thought she just wanted attention. I’ve been drastically losing weight and my therapist has been freaking out and I’m also refusing treatment and hiding it very well from family so there’s a difference between someone’s who’s legit and someone’s who not.

Well I was wondering myself how do you KNOW who has a mental illness? I never knew you can get voices in your head that make you do stuff I thought you'd have to literally have to hear them through your ear to be labelled crazy. For Years I have had voices telling me to hurt myself "JUst make sure you vomit enough till your stomach is empty" That was went though my mind every time I vomit(I have been bulimic for over 5yrs) |
