I don't know where to turn when it comes to this so I hope here is a good place. I keep hearing what sounds like police sirens in the background and it just won't stop. I rolled down my window of my car to listen cuz I'm pulled off to the side of the road and I couldn't hear it but when I roll up my window I could hear it again but it sounds like it's in the distance and it's just a repetitive siren that I now know is not real because there's no advancement in it and it hasn't gone away but also because this has happened to me one other time I don't remember when it stopped but right now I just feel like I'm going to go insane because it has been about 25 minutes and it's still happening as I'm typing this. Does anybody know what that means? Has it happened to anyone else? Am I going crazy? I've been dealing with a lot of stress but things have been getting a little bit easier so I would say that I am doing a lot better but still having a difficult time so I don't understand why it would be just because of that because I have been doing a little bit better. I also notice that I feel like I'm on a swing sometimes and I felt like my car was rocking back and forth for a while but it stopped about 5 minutes ago. Can anyone please shed some light on to what's going on with me and can I get these Sirens to stop? Thank you so much anyone that's willing to help I appreciate it

I wish so much that I could help you. I have had periods of time when I hear a phone ringing (a specific ring), it's very annoying. I am diagnosed with bipolar disorder - the "phone ringing" may or may not be a symptom. Is the problem completely new, or have you had other symptoms that are similar?

You could have a ball bearing loose in your tire. It makes a noise like Curly in the Three Stooges, "Woo, woo, woo!" The car rocking sounds like struts and springs or a tie iron, part of the front axle assembly.

Hi @LonelyOne55,
Firstly, hang in there please, I'm sure you're not going mad. ![]() But is this the very first time you've heard those siren sounds, LonelyOne55? If you continue to hear siren sounds, or if you've been hearing them previously, my suggestion would be to talk to your doctor and explain the situation, because it may be related to possible hearing disorders like tinnitus or could be related to the stress you've been having, I'm not sure. Keep us updated of you like. Thank you. |
