When I had a job, I was spending 8-9 hours working, and when I finished my shift everyday I would be exhausting, and thus was going to bed early. But now I am between jobs, and I have too much time with little things to do, and I get bored, extremely bored everyday. It doesn't help that I am also not sociable, which makes me also feel lonely. These feelings get worse around this time of the year . How do you spend your time if you don't have a job and a very limited circle of friends, and keep yourself engaged and active?

Pursuing hobbies. Doesn’t need to be anything extravagant. Anything creative. Making things. Arts or crafts. Music, learning instrument or singing. Read books or read stuff online. Watching movies. Working out, walking. Cook. Learn new recipes. Learn foreign language. (Duo lingo is free). Play chess online. Take a free class online. Walk. Run. Do yoga. Dance.

Watching competition shows. Americas got talent, project runway, Americas next top model, RuPauls drag race, American idol, the masked singer.
Basically all the current ones. I spend hours watching them to the point I lose time and neglect stuff. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

I've been dealing with a lot of the same. I isolate because that's how I'm most comfortable, but then there are times when I do start feeling desperately lonely and alone. I do chores every day to keep my apartment decently clean. And there's always laundry, dishes, and the routine stuff.
I was doing art work for some years, but all of a sudden I burned out on it, at least for now. I love being on PC. I play a few games online. I watch videos on youtube, also have taken classes from Udemy. I sometimes watch movies. I try to have a good book or 2 to read for a couple of hours each night. Annnd...that's about it. __________________ |

Go to work and try to look busy, I’m bored to tears at my current job, but no other jobs in my area look interesting either. I read the news a lot because I have some crazy idea in the back of my mind about becoming a journalist. I try to read books a lot. I try to walk every day and sometimes I work on some hobbies and wish I could make a paying job of them.

Aside from the boredom of your job it sounds like you lead a pretty cool life! I think your idea of being a journalist is a terrific one. __________________ |

I own a farm & I have a horse & dogs & a cat & the wild critters from my woods I feed & care for. Have hobbies. Caring for it all alone takes a lot of time so I am never bored. Also stay in contact with friends online more now which really gives me more time to get work done than trying to throw socializing into the mix too. Do Bible study at church once a week. Have my horse at a barn on the farm next door so have to load feed & water to haul up there for her.
