I used to do humblebrags that were directed at 2 people on my Facebook that I hated with a passion because their behavior was so triggering. They reminded me of how I acted when I was 13-14 and they brought back bad memories for me of my past. I finally just lost it one night and I cursed her and her friend out so much on PM they both ended up blocking me.

But I saw a supposed humble brag the other day about a guy claiming he ate a cauliflower crust pizza as a cheat day and no matter what he does he can’t gain weight. I don’t get exactly how that is a humblebrag. If the dude wants a cheat with a cauliflower crust pizza who cares. I did that the other day. And maybe he truly can’t gain weight.

I guess I did one in early November when America was on edge. I posted my food rack full of unhealthy foods and I said in my post “no I don’t smoke pot or weigh 200 pounds.” I got a lot of laughs out of it but I guess it was kinda not nice considering a lot of people are over 200 pounds and still don’t eat the way I do.

I don’t know. I’ve kinda given up posting on Facebook unless something big is happening because I felt like I was humble bragging too much. It wasn’t so much a matter of low self esteem as it was seeing triggering posts that put me in flight mode and my fear of gaining weight.
