I’ve been really losing track of time. And I’ve been forgetting to eat and stuff until I realize I’m starving. I just get super distracted by my books and phone and then time just fly’s by. I’ve also had a bit of trouble with my memory. The other day I couldn’t even remember if I had watched a TV show that morning or the morning before.

I’ve been on benzos for about 4 years straight. But I also do that pill rolling thing with my thumb index and middle finger. Always with my left hand. I’ve also had a tremor in my right hand for awhile.

I mean the memory and distraction thing is kinda freaking me out a bit.

Should I be concerned?

Sounds like a kind of hyper focus to me. If it’s not really interfering with your life other than leaving you very hungry at times I wouldn’t be to concerned. Of course I’m not a psychiatrist or psychologist so if it’s still causing you distress I would talk to someone along those lines.

This happens to me when my days are more-or-less identical over some time. If you shook it up a little, do something specific and memorable every two to three days, this should give your mind an anchor to sort the memories by , I hope. Good luck

in general losing track of time because you are doing something fun is completely normal. thats where the saying "time flies when you're having fun" comes from.

yes it can come because of medications too. my suggestion is talk with your doctors. they are the ones to talk to when you suspect medication side effects. they can make changes to your meds that will slow down or stop the side effects.

At times it fine but if its very often, most of the time in a day then better set your reminders so that you train your mind to create an internal alarm that at this hour you have to eat or do so and so work.
